문재인 더불어민주당 대선후보 선거대책위원회가 제19대 대통령선거 비용 마련을 위하여 ‘문재인 펀드’를 19일 출시했고, 그 직후 ‘완전판매완료’되는 인기를 드러냈다.

이전에 유명 인터넷 쇼핑몰을 패러디하여, 문재인 후보의 정책 등을 홍보하는 ‘문재인 1번가’가 충분히 화제를 모았고, 이번의 펀드 또한 네티즌들 사이에서 긍정적인 반응을 가져왔다.
펀드로 모인 자금은 7월 19일, 투자자들에게 원금과 이자가 상환된다. 먼저 투자 금액으로 현재의 선거 비용을 충당하고, 향후 국고에서 보전받은 선거비용 등으로 이를 돌려줄 예정이다. 선대위 측은 “이자율은 16개 시중은행의 일반신용대출 평균금리를 적용한 연 3.6% 수준”이라고 설명했다.
