【제정·개정이유】
[일부개정]
◇ 개정이유 및 주요내용
과도한 증인출석요구로 증언이 이루어지지 않는 경우가 많이 발생하고, 피감기관 등의 업무부담이 가중되어 증인출석 제도의 실효성이 저하되는 실정임.
이에 국정감사결과보고서에 증인 채택 현황 및 결과를 포함시켜 과도한 증인 채택을 막고, 제도의 실효성을 제고하려는 것임.

국무회의의 심의를 거친 국정감사 및 조사에 관한 법률 일부개정법률을 이에 공포한다.

국정감사 및 조사에 관한 법률 일부개정법률

국정감사 및 조사에 관한 법률 일부를 다음과 같이 개정한다.

제15조의 조 번호 및 제목을 다음과 같이 하고, 같은 조 제2항 중 “제1항의 보고서에는 감사 또는 조사”를 “제1항의 보고서에는 증인 채택 현황 및 증인신문 결과를 포함한 감사 또는 조사”로 한다.
제15조(감사 또는 조사결과의 보고)

부칙
제1조(시행일) 이 법은 공포한 날부터 시행한다.
제2조(적용례) 이 법은 이 법 시행 후 최초로 실시하는 국정감사 또는 국정조사부터 적용한다.
